THE STORY: The Bachelors Party

THE BACHELORS PARTY
So many things were on my mind as I drove pass Shop rite road, heading towards Bola crescent I turned right and drove into Stephen quarters where the bachelor house party was going to be held. I kept looking around like I was new in town, Stephen quarters was looking different that night, and it was well lit.
I could hear the sound of music from afar, DJ Salvatore was already on the wheels of steel and Badmouth was on the M.I.C, he was the anchor for the day. I kept on looking around in search of the bachelor who was to celebrate, but all I could see were ladies on bikini. So I decided to ask a close pal of his if he had seen him, he told me to check his sitting room. So I moved towards that direction, when I got to his door, I heard a voice;
“Hello! Handsome” I turned and saw this lady staring at me seductively.
“I am cool, my lady” I answered.
‘' Do you care for a drink?” She asked.
“No problem with that’’ I answered once again.
At the bar, we weren’t talking much; she was just there giving me her history of guys who broke her heart. I checked my wrist watch, it was already 10.00pm. I had already spent two hours with the lady, I stood up to tell her goodbye but to my surprise she wasn’t there anymore, I didn’t even notice when she left. I was very shocked.
Why, hasn’t the celebrant come out to address us? Wasn’t he the one who invited us? Immediately I ran to his sitting room but he wasn’t there, I checked his bedroom he was nowhere to be found then I opened the toilet door.“OMG! What the hell is this?’’ I said to myself. “Making out inside the toilet? ,There is no way I would do that’’. I kept on searching, I moved to the back of the house, as I came out of the exit door, two guys came out from nowhere and held me, I saw the celebrant tied up. He was half dead, then that punch from one of the guys knocked me out, that was the last thing I saw.
Writing to you all from this cell is the best way I can tell the world the truth of what really transpired that night, I have heard of stories about the innocent being sentenced to death for crimes they didn’t commit. And here I find myself a victim of it. I am about to be killed for a crime I know nothing about. I wonder how many souls have perished for what they didn’t do and what they had no idea about. How come am being sent to face the firing squad. It is a life drama which am part of now and sincerely I can’t tell what is going to happen next, where would my help come from? Why would someone set me up, someone I didn’t upset.
The situation of our justice system is appalling; lord let your light shine, save this dying nation and its dying judiciary system. I pray you hear me lord.
