Music is everything..
Music is life..
It is addictive, it got you tripping.
Fills your soul with peace, joy, happiness.
It still fills your soul with sorrow, despair, sadness.
It still gives hope, faith, love.
Makes you think of life...
Makes you think of death...
And still makeb you think of life after death.
Music is just however you see it, however you feel it.
Then talk about what gives music its life;
The instruments; wait for it.
Listen to the drum playing..
Beat it, enjoy it give its beat.
Flow with the sound.
Strike it, hit it..
Whatever you do
Watch the music come alive.
Let the rhythm flow through your veins like your blood does.
Feel the beat flowing with every beat of your heart.
Feel it pounding like your heart pounds.
Gbedu of life, beat of life...
Drums bring the intensity to everything...
Talk about the heightened emotions.
Making you soar as high as a bird.
As you enjoy the percussion.
All of a sudden, everything is quiet and everywhere serene.
Close your eyes...
Doh reh mi fa so la ti doh...
Now, your heart is being played like a grand piano as you listen to the piano playing.
It's like you are held by strings, hanging on to the soulful message of the melody.
Feel it Pierce through your body, your muscles and find its way to your soul.
Feel it travel down your spine.
It has found places you didn't know existed.
Do you like it slow? when it gives peace
Do you like it fast? When it is playful.
Either way, you are still trapped in a trance.
You are on a beach staring at the ocean...
You are already on the aquamarine water, the deep aquamarine water..
Thinking deep about something, or about that special someone..
Your heart has been touched.
Now yell me how the drum and piano brings life to your music...

#MERCYTheStory Ep6

*THE NEEDFUL*

"Hello!"
"Are you there sir?!" He asked, but still got no reply.
He dropped the phone, walked around the house to check if there was anyone still inside the building.
'Beep!' It was his phone, he picked.
"Found no one at home, building cleared" he said to the caller on the line.
The line went off immediately.

He wasn't a happy man today, he was never late to a task like this, and he has never missed his target.

                                                  ****

Inside a medium size 'thermo-cool' deep freezer laid a young lady, she was his target. She hid herself from him and she was already giving up. The oxygen contained in the freezer was now shortening with the speed of light.

                                                    ****

He looked at the strangely positioned white box.
He was now dehydrated. That was why the 'thermo-cool' deep freezer was looking just like a white box to him. He stepped towards it,then he opened it.....

#MERCYTheStory Ep5

*THOUGHTS*

MERCY sat at the bar section of "Ben Club" feeling very cold inside of her , the images of what she saw at the apartment were now returning to hunt her one more time.
Musa had a male partner. She caught them naked, laying side by side. It wasn't like it was her first time of her seeing two males caught making out, she was shocked that gays/lesbians now went to the extent of proposing and getting married to their opposite sex just to shield their same-sex relationship from the prying eyes of the public.

'Musa loves both gender?' she asked herself.

Mercy emptied the contents of her beta malt can with just one gulp, dropped it on the table, paid the bar attendant, told him to keep the change, and went straight to her BMW parked Outside.

She had to do something about what she just experienced. She had to make him pay for the emotional trauma he had caused before she decided not to marry him after saying 'yes!'

'Beep!' It was her smartphone, a message came in and it read, " Your Letter Is Waiting. Congratulations!!! #NZXTVX", After reading it she sighed heavily, Got into her car and drove off.

                                               * *** *

Musa on his part was devastated. He was unsure of Mercy's next move.
He was scared of Mercy blackmailing him. He was afraid that she was going to leak his secrets to the world, because he knew she ran an online media outfit with a large fan base of people who believed her every story.

He had to do something drastic immediately, he had to take her away from the scene before caused any harm.
These were his own thoughts. He picked up his phone and dialed kunta immediately.

#MERCYTheStory Ep4

*Oh GOD OF MERCY*

Musa was in town, it was time for Mercy to set things straight with him.
To tell him she had no dreams of getting married to Hausa. That she wasn't interested in his money and gifts anymore. Thatch Thatch she had had enough of his goat like body odour covered with passion perfume.
That she hated left handed guys. That she hated the fact he couldn't satisfy her on and off the bed.
She had made up her mind, so she got prepared to pay him a surprise visit at his apartment in lagos. An apartment he lived in two times in a year.

Musa was from a wealthy family, he had everything money could buy. He was the guy who loved to love, he once  had a crush on a one time beauty queen, but he crushed the crush when he realized it was  one sided. It was on the evening of that same day he met Mercy and his attention diverted to her.

The traffic was a little bit tight, Mercy hated Nigerian roads. No one ever knew what made cars to go slow. She had already prepared her lines, how she was going to tell Musa off. How she was going to look into his eyes and make him feel less human. She was almost losing concentration while she rode her black BMW, she hated driving when her mind was filled with thoughts and issues yet to solve.

The apartment felt silent, which was unusual.
Musa liked to play his favourite Hausa tunes when he was around. She got through the gate, went to his door, it wasn't locked, and still no sign of anyone around.

She went to his room directly, his door was ajar. She peeped through, "Oh! My God!' She exclaimed.

#MERCYTheStory Ep3

*MERCY SAID NO*

So distressed and unhappy, Mercy laid in her bed with her heart filled with anger. She wasn't happy with herself.
So many things filled her mind at this point.
What she wanted was to sleep, but her emotions wouldn't let her.

'M' failed to show up at the sharing again; she hated disappointments, she hated to anticipate for things that ended up failing to meet up to her expectations.

It was 10pm already, she had no option but to stay put at home and sulk it all up. Her favourite hangout spot had closed at that time.

It was late.

Her favourite hang out spot was called, "Ben Club".
This was were she cleared her head anytime she felt down. She had her 'Beta Malt' to herself each time she needed to create space for good tidings in her heart.

This was were she fought with nature 'tooth and nail'.

As she laid the back of her head on her pink coloured pillow, she felt she was falling apart.
Memories from her past  came back to hunt her.

She remembered when she was young, and her female folks refused to play with her because of her size, and how her parent also refused her from having male friends in the name of protecting her from evil.

She could recollect how her father was bent on her reading law in the university, while her dream course was english language.

She could recollect how her dad never brought money for her schooling, from her nursery school days, to her high school and university days. How he even stole money from her younger brother meagre savings.

She remembered how he was lazying about doing nothing while his mates were out there toiling in the rain to feed their various families. How she wished her own father death till he eventually died.

She remembered how she left the Roman Catholic Church to  a church her first male friend attended, and how she stopped going to church and believing in christians entirely because that same male friend who was a choirmaster in the church invited her over to his home, drugged and disflowered her.She only attended sharing's on thursdays just to see 'M'

This made her to start hating male folks, took feminism seriously, never derived joy from sex with a man, and said no to holy matrimony, and poverty.

She was on the look out for happiness.

Then that cool wind blew and she slept off, leaving her electric kettle filled with water connected to the socket waiting to be switched on.

#MERCYTheStory Ep2

*HOUR OF MERCY*

It was thursday again, so Mercy prepared herself to go for her usual evening sharing at the 'House On The Valley' Church. Her favourite speaker, 'Pastor M' was the person who was to moderate today's session, so she had to look her very best.

She gently removed the engagement ring on her middle finger. She immediately recalled how Musa proposed to her at the shopping mall at Ikeja with over three thousand witnesses in unplanned attendance. She could remember how she covered her mouth with her hands as she watched Musa kneel down, and staring at her with his eyes wide open, and his tobacco stained teeth following suit.

She remembered the words that came out of her mouth being covered by her hands.

"Bastard! Bastard!! Who told you I am ready? Who told you I was going to marry you?" She said to her self, before she said the much anticipated Yes!.

The mall ruptured, as people were excited because they had heard a 'yes!'.
A 'Yes!' she just had to exclaim due to her environmental condition, and all she kept hearing from the people around her was "awwn!" like a girl moaning during her first sex. She just had to go through all that because Musa came from the wealthy home of Africa's Richest Black Man 'Aliko Zagadat'.
A week from that day, she saw the akward scene of Musa Proposing to her On the Instagram Page Of BellaNaija. She unfollowed them immediately.

She stepped out in her denim jean and black top for the sharing. She got to her parked BMW outside, on opening  her car door she checked her time, she was already thirty minutes late to the sharing. *To Be Continued*

#MERCYTheStory Ep1

*MERCILESS MERCY*

As he hit climax, mercy rolled over to the edge of the bed. She needed to power her mobile device, since she had been making use of the whatsapp messenger app on it while Kunle rode her.

Kunle watched her leave the bed, after she had made sure her mobile device was charging.

She was now putting on her black top with a tag "Jesus Is Coming Soon"  boldly printed on it. She wore her favourite footwear for working out; her black Airmax always made the difference when she did her 20 laps round the courtyard ,the courtyard was a stone throw away from her gate.

"See you some other time" she said, as she walked out of the room while kunle stared at her round waist swinging in an oscillating manner.

"I can't  believe she didn't even feel anything, even after using Adam's desire on her!" Kunle exclaimed.

Now looking at the snake between his two legs, so weak, and calm. It wasn't looking like it was in a hurry anymore like it did barely a few minutes ago.

He packed up and left, he felt like the bitch.

"This girl is too powerful" he said to himself as he walked out of the gates of David Homes.
